Our building is located in Elberfeld, in a quiet setting close to the city, a little north above the Elberfeld town hall.
With its decorated façades and inner courtyards from the founding period, it is extremely popular with artists and students.
It takes about 7 minutes on foot to the city center and around 15 minutes to the train station.
If you are heading to the university, a bus runs to the cafeteria stop at Max-Horkheimer Strasse.
Bayer AG’s pharmaceutical research center can be reached by bus line 613 in 15 minutes without any transfers.
The Bayer plant on Friedrich-Ebert Straße is ideally accessible by the Wuppertal suspension railway.
The St. Josef Hospital on Bergstraße and the Agaplesion Bethesda on Hainstraße are both within a few minutes’ walk.
Especially on nice days, it is well worth visiting the Nordbahntrasse (www.nordbahntrasse.de).
This nearly flat 23‑km long pedestrian and cycle path is ideal for jogging, inline skating, or cycling—a rarity in Wuppertal.
The Nordbahntrasse greatly enhances the attractiveness of the location. There is an access point for cyclists and pedestrians at Mirker train station and at Unterer Dorrenberg.

• A 43‑inch TV is mounted, and there is a wall cabinet along with a chest of drawers.
