Old Building Meets Modernization

As of May 1, 2025, a lovingly completely renovated old building apartment with an advantageous layout will be available for rent. This is a second occupancy following an extensive renovation (completion in May 2024).

The refurbished wooden plank flooring, high ceilings, and original wooden doors all contribute to the cozy old building charm of the apartment. A spiral staircase leads to the newly developed, finished attic, which features a roof terrace.

In addition, the apartment offers all the benefits of a deep renovation: two shower bathrooms, insulated windows with electric shutters, and a high-quality fitted kitchen. To minimize energy costs, a hybrid, energy-efficient heating system (including radiators) has been installed and additional insulation measures implemented.

The residential community consists of six units, all rented through us. The backyard and laundry room are available to all residents (with the option to stack your own washing machine and dryer).

In older buildings it is typically possible to move through the apartment in a circular route – a character we were able to preserve on the lower floor. The property is located in the immediate vicinity of the central meeting point of the popular Martin district: Riegerplatz. Within a 1 km radius you’ll find numerous restaurants, bars, bakeries, cultural and concert venues, the Nordbad, pharmacies, and the Alice Hospital. Various shopping options are reachable on foot within a few minutes. Another advantage of the location is the bus connection from Kopernikusplatz, as well as nearby car sharing stations.

It is only a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride to the central Darmstadt Luisenplatz.

Both the Darmstadt University and Mathildenhöhe – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – are quickly accessible within approximately 800 meters.

For relaxation or outdoor exercise, the Herrengarten and Bürgerpark are only a 5 to 10-minute walk away.
