In 2022, a photovoltaic system with 9 kWp and a heating element were installed. This enables self-sufficient energy supply from April to October. With the water-fed fireplace stove in use, the energy consumption amounts to approximately 600 liters of heating oil and 2 meters of wood annually.
The house will be ready for occupancy from October 2025.
The house is centrally located in the municipality of Oppenweiler. The train station, which offers direct connections to Stuttgart or Schwäbisch Hall, is a 3-minute walk away. The Castle Park with the town hall is a 2-minute walk away, and the Rewe supermarket is about 10 minutes on foot.
